Anchor In The Storm

Anchor in the Storm

When the floor beneath you fractures and the heavy shadows loom, And the weight of trials echoes in the quiet of the room, Do not measure by the darkness, or the breaking of the day, For the One who names the oceans has not turned His face away.

He is close beside the broken, holding tightly to your hand, Walking with you through the waters when you cannot see the land. Though the road is steep and rugged, and the night is long and cold, Every tear you shed is gathered, every silent grief is told.

So lean upon His promise when your human strength is gone, His grace is pouring softly like the breaking of the dawn. He will carry what is heavy, He will fight the unseen fray, He is holding your tomorrow, and He walks with you today.

"The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit." — Psalm 34:18
